Christmas markets in Zurich

From 23 November to 24 December 2023 the various Christmas markets will be held in Zurich.

The Christmas markets in Zurich are very special.

Even though you are in the largest city of Switzerland, the charm of the Christmas markets will not let you feel that way.

• Zurich Old Town: Here in the “Niederdorf”, a small part of the Old Town, you will find the oldest Christmas market in the city. Small market stalls range from the Niederdorfstrasse over the Hirschenplatz up to the Rosenhof.
• Zurich Main Station: The highlight of the Christmas market at the main station is the 15-meter high Christmas tree decorated with countless sparkling Swarovski crystals. Just stunning!
• Christmas Village at Bellevue: Right in front of the opera house, on the “Sechseläutenplatz” the largest Christmas market of Zurich is located. There is even an ice rink for skating. Are you looking for a program for your Christmas party, seminar or conference? Then ice skating in a cozy atmosphere is the right thing to do.
• Christmas market at the Werdmühleplatz: A small, charming place is located next to the busy “Bahnhofstrasse”. There, too, it smells like gingerbread and mulled wine. But the Singing Chrismas Tree is unique. The stage has the form of a house-high Christmas tree on the various choirs singing Christmas songs and thus create a pleasant Christmas atmosphere.
